Choosing the best event for you

SPICE tailors the content of each show to your needs. Our shows vary depending on the age range of audience, size of audience, learning objectives and themes. SPICE visits schools, libraries and other locations provided they are within a reasonable driving distance. We offer three types of events: demo shows, hands-on activities and FST shows. See each of the links for detailed explanations along with some guidelines below.

Demo Shows

Demo shows are our most versatile event. These shows work for almost any size audience and we can make our demo show fit your needs. A large room is best, but we are able accommodate a smaller room (with fewer demo options). For a full list of demos visit our demos page.

Hands-On Activities

Hands-on activities give the kids the most one-on-one contact with SPICE members. Each kid does the activity with the help of the SPICE members. This is the best option if you would like SPICE to run a booth at your science fair or other event. Hands-on activities also work in a classroom setting. Although challenging for large groups, you could consider splitting your large group into smaller groups and having SPICE do multiple sessions. Fusion Science Theater

FST is a science play and our most unique type of show. We have two different plays you can choose from. Since FST is an actual theater type show, the shows have a set time length and theme. A large room with high ceilings is required. Works best for audiences under thirty member although we have successfully performed for larger audiences.
